Facts About Abandonment
Stem of the Movement
Facts of Abandonment was born from lived experience — not theory, not policy papers, but the real lives of children and mothers left to fight alone.
Both my fiancé and I were raised by single mothers who gave everything they had to keep us safe, clothed, and hopeful — often without the legal or financial support they deserved. We know firsthand what it feels like to grow up watching our mothers stretch every dollar, sacrifice every dream, and carry a burden that was never meant to be theirs alone.

Our Story
Our reality shaped our paths.
We chose careers based not just on passion, but on survival — seeking professions that would allow us to provide the stability and security that were stolen from our childhoods. We built our lives on resilience, grit, and an unshakable belief that no family should have to endure what ours did.
Facts of Abandonment is our promise to every mother who fought, every child who waited, and every family still battling a system that too often looks the other way.
This movement stands to expose injustice, to amplify forgotten voices, and to demand legal accountability for the families our society has neglected for too long.
We are not here to beg for fairness.
We are here to make fairness inevitable.
Through real stories, legislative advocacy, and relentless truth-telling, we fight for a future where no child’s worth is determined by the marital status of their parents — and no mother is left standing alone.
